About Eva

An Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with over 15 years in the mental health sector and a Masters in Social Work (Qualifying), I have supported individuals through many of life's most complex challenges, the last five years of that in direct therapeutic practice.

I believe that for therapy to be effective, it must be grounded in a genuine, collaborative relationship. My approach is warm and down-to-earth. I aim to be a steady, relatable presence for the people I work with, someone who can sit alongside you in the hard parts without rushing you through them.

I am particularly drawn to supporting people moving through the messy middle of life, those significant transitions that reshape our sense of who we are. This includes new parents navigating the first five years of parenthood, a period that can quietly unravel and rebuild your sense of identity, relationships, and place in the world.

Therapeutic Approaches

EMDR - Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing
Compassionate, evidence-based therapy designed to gently untangle the painful memories holding you back, helping your mind naturally heal so you can rediscover peace, resilience, and emotional freedom.

DBT — Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
Building distress tolerance and emotional regulation skills — finding balance between acceptance and change.

ACT — Acceptance & Commitment Therapy
Creating psychological flexibility and helping you move toward what matters most in your life.

Who I Work With

I'm particularly drawn to working with people in the middle of something — those in-between moments that don't always have a name but can feel quietly overwhelming.

Life Shifts
Whether it's the end of a relationship, a career that no longer fits, or the slow weight of grief — these transitions can shake the ground beneath us. I offer a steady, grounded space to process what's changed and find your footing again.

Adolescence
The shift into young adulthood is one of the most turbulent passages a person can move through. I work with teens who are figuring out who they are, navigating pressure from all directions, and learning to trust themselves.

Matrescence
Becoming a mother is one of the most profound transformations a woman can experience — physically, emotionally, and socially. I support women through this shift with warmth and without judgment, including the parts that are hard to say out loud.

Across all of this, my work is grounded in a strong background in serious mental health — which means our sessions are evidence-based and robust, while always remaining gentle and person-centred.
